About me

As a developer, I have spent the vast majority of my career creating, designing, and building software.

Naturally, I’ve accumulated heaps of experience integrating systems. Such as making (internal) systems more accessible to customers or employees via chatbots, push- or pull-based APIs & webhooks. I have even developed a couple of good old-fashioned nightly batch jobs.
In a nutshell: There are several ways to go about making systems talk to each other, and I’ve seen many variations thereof.

About Bespokesy

I founded Bespoke Systems Integration Pty Ltd with the idea of building useful plugins, addons, and other integrations for various ecosystems.
Over time, I want to build up a portfolio of small products rather than trying to build a single big product.

In addition to working on my own projects, I also offer my services for clients’ custom integrations.
I want to use my past experience to help potential clients create a map that shows the path from an idea to a finished product in clear, distinct steps. How and when to measure what, and how to reduce risks and costs along the way.

Motivation

After all these years, I still love working with code. I like to understand the business and/or customer problems the software is supposed to solve, build a clear understanding of what success should look like, and find ways to measure progress sooner rather than later during the lifetime of a project.

The perfect project for me is having unambiguous metrics in place to be able to track progress towards a clear goal which benefits a business and its customers.
